As previously reported, WWE will be adding commercials on Monday Night RAW once the show moves to Netflix next year. Naturally, this made fans wonder whether this was always the plan or if it was a last-minute decision.
While speaking on Fightful Select’s Q&A podcast, Sean Ross Sapp reported that commercials were always part of the plan for WWE RAW on Netflix. He mentioned that some online accounts were spreading misinformation, claiming there wouldn’t be commercials, but those accounts lacked accurate information about the situation.
”For those asking, commercials have always been planned for WWE RAW on Netflix. There’s some engagement accounts pretending that they weren’t, but they just had no insight on that situation.”
Triple H is also confident that fans will make the transition to Netflix without any concerns. Regardless, we will have to wait and see how the WWE product will grow once they shift to Netflix in January next year.
