Multiple WWE NXT Superstars Backstage for 9/16 RAW in Portland Oregon

The September 16 WWE RAW is set to take place at the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon, and it appears that some NXT talent may be making an appearance, at least behind the scenes. Some interesting names are backstage.

PW Insider has confirmed that WWE NXT stars Gallus and Sol Ruca are backstage at tonight’s RAW. It was not noted why they are backstage.

While it’s likely that Gallus and Sol Ruca are in Portland to participate in the WWE Main Event taping, their presence backstage at RAW is a positive sign of their growing importance within the company.

The presence of NXT stars like Gallus and Sol Ruca backstage at RAW reflects WWE’s increasing integration of NXT talent into its main roster shows, hinting at future opportunities for the black and gold brand’s rising stars.

NXT is currently airing on The USA Network, is preparing for a move to The CW starting October 1. The first episode on The CW will take place at Chicago’s Nationwide Arena, with CM Punk scheduled to appear. You can find ticket information for that 10/1 NXT event here.
