WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle has achieved a lot during his WWE career, including an amazing rookie year that helped him become a wrestling legend. Although he hasn’t wrestled in over five years, Angle has now revealed that he’s open to getting back in the ring for some physical action.

Known for his incredible rookie year and legendary status in wrestling, Angle hasn’t competed in the ring for over five years. His last match was against Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35 in 2019, which turned out to be his final bout.

Since then, the Olympic Gold Medalist has made occasional appearances in WWE, mostly in cameo roles. His most recent appearance was during the RAW XXX edition in January of last year.

While speaking during a K&S WrestleFest virtual signing, Angle made it clear that he’s not interested in a full in-ring return. He mentioned that while he wouldn’t mind doing a spot or two, he’s not up for wrestling a match. Angle, who is 55 years old, said he could handle taking some bumps, but a full match is not something he wants to do.

“I wouldn’t mind doing a spot here and there. But, if you’re gonna ask me to do a wrestling match, it’s just not gonna happen. Yeah, I could take some bumps.”

Kurt Angle is also still under a contract with WWE. Only time will tell when the pro wrestling legend will be able to make his return to WWE television, as fans most certainly miss him by now.
