Joe Hendry is getting very used to receiving attention from the WWE roster. His entrance music is a mainstay at this point, and many are very into his viral theme song. He is paying attention to his timeline, and you never know when someone will say his name online, because he may appear.

At TNA Victory Road 2024, Hendry secured one of the biggest wins of his career by defeating Josh Alexander. Shortly after, Xavier Woods posted a TikTok video parodying Hendry’s theme song. Woods and his friends, dressed as Hendry, mimicked his music video, showcasing their comedic take on the TNA star’s persona.

Joe Hendry took to social media to respond to the parody, humorously writing, “He’s a better Joe Hendry than Joe Hendry.” The lighthearted comment reflects Hendry’s ability to engage with fans and peers alike, even those outside TNA.

Despite his success in TNA, Hendry has also made appearances for WWE NXT. On June 18, 2024, he made his in-ring debut for the black-and-gold brand, representing TNA in a 25-man battle royal to determine the number one contender for the NXT Championship. Although he was quickly eliminated by Frankie Kazarian, Hendry’s presence in NXT remained significant.

On the July 9 episode of NXT, Hendry teamed up with Trick Williams to defeat NXT Champion Ethan Page and Shawn Spears. Later, at the first week of NXT The Great American Bash on July 30, Hendry hosted his first live concert in WWE, only to be attacked by Gallus midway through his performance. This led to a match between Hendry and Coffey the following week, which Hendry won.

Joe Hendry’s momentum continued when, on the August 20 episode of NXT, he defeated Pete Dunne and Wes Lee in a triple threat match, earning a shot at the NXT Championship against Ethan Page at NXT No Mercy on September 1. Though he ultimately fell short in his bid for the title, Hendry’s performances in WWE have kept him in the spotlight.

Interestingly, Hendry’s history with WWE dates back to 2014, when he appeared on an episode of RAW as a Russian diplomat alongside Rusev and Lana. He also made several appearances as one of Adam Rose’s Rosebuds, showcasing his versatility and longstanding presence in the wrestling world.

Although Joe Hendry seems to be making himself at home in NXT, he isn’t done in TNA Wrestling. The company has him locked into a deal for a long time to come. Thanks to the partnership between TNA and WWE, Hendry is certainly having a lot of fun.
