Cody Rhodes & Roman Reigns Set for Second Consecutive WWE SmackDown Appearance Ahead of Bad Blood

Fans can expect to see Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns for the second week in a row on WWE SmackDown this Friday night, following their interaction on last week’s USA Network premiere. The segment ended with the announcement of a major match for WWE Bad Blood 2024, and now the duo will once again appear on the blue brand this Friday, September 20.

During the September 16 episode of WWE Raw, a commercial aired promoting this week’s SmackDown, teasing that Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns will attempt to “seek common ground” as they prepare to face The Bloodline members Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa at WWE Bad Blood 2024.

In addition to the showdown between Cody, Roman, and The Bloodline, the September 20 episode of SmackDown will feature a high-stakes tag match between Nia Jax & Tiffany Stratton against Bayley & Naomi. If Bayley and Naomi win, the person who scores the fall will face Nia Jax for the WWE Women’s Championship at Bad Blood. However, if they lose, the person who takes the fall must leave WWE SmackDown.

Another exciting match set for the evening will see LA Knight defend the WWE United States Championship against Andrade.
