CM Punk’s return at the Survivor Series Premium Live Event last year has been one of WWE’s best decisions according to fans, as he is clearly happy to be back. That doesn’t mean CM Punk is comfortable with all sorts of fans and he has now slammed airport collectors for their awful behavior.

Fans meeting wrestlers at airports has become a problem for many stars. While some chance encounters are fine, there is now a group of people who go to airports with lots of merchandise, just to get autographs to sell on eBay. This has upset wrestlers, who feel taken advantage of by people who are more interested in making money than showing real support for their work.

Last year, a video showed Rey Mysterio without his mask, refusing to sign an autograph because the fan was clearly trying to profit from it. Rhea Ripley also faced similar issues, being swarmed by fans at an airport and expressing her frustration.

The Straight Edge Star took to his Instagram story and addressed the behavior of some fans who persist in following wrestlers despite being asked to stop. He emphasized that airports are not the appropriate place for meet-and-greets and urged people to respect personal boundaries. He also mentioned an issue with fans using their children as a justification for approaching wrestlers, stating this behavior crosses a line and needs to stop. The message was clear: privacy and respect are important, and fans should avoid harassing wrestlers in such settings.

“Hey guys, Love y’all, but friendly reminder to respect privacy and boundaries. Airports are not a meet and greet. If I have to ask you to please stop following me multiple times you have crossed a line. Please stop this. Thank you. (And stop using your children as a shield or an excuse.)”

Even Drew McIntyre gets annoyed by fans forcing autographs at airports. Nevertheless, CM Punk has made it abundantly clear he simply has no respect for fans who do not value his private space and it’s not hard to see why.
