WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling’s partnership has already resulted in some great matches that fans didn’t see coming. Jordynne Grace was inserted as a focal point of that story from the beginning, as she was the first star to cross through that Forbidden Door. Now, she has another NXT Superstar eyeing her Knockouts Title.

Wendy Choo isn’t backing down after her recent showdown with Jordynne Grace for the TNA Knockouts Championship. At TNA Victory Road, the two competitors went head-to-head, with Choo aiming to dethrone the reigning champion. This was a great display of Choo’s revamped darker character, one that Rosemary has attached herself to.

However, a surprising interference from Jordynne Grace’s grandmother during that TNA Knockouts Title match shifted the tide of the contest. The unexpected distraction prevented Choo from using her signature sleeping bag as a weapon, ultimately allowing Grace to retain her title.

Despite the loss, Wendy Choo made it clear that this rivalry is far from over. On Sunday, Choo took to social media to address the situation, vowing to remain in TNA with unfinished business. “I’m not done with you yet, @JordynneGrace. I guess I’ll stick around TNA for a while,” she tweeted, teasing that this feud may have more chapters to unfold.

Meanwhile, Choo is also deeply involved in a rivalry within NXT. Alongside Rosemary, she has been wreaking havoc on Tatum Paxley, who recently found an ally in Lyra Valkyria. With battles brewing in both TNA and NXT, Wendy Choo seems determined to make her presence felt across multiple promotions.

We will keep our eye on this story for more updates. You never know what can happen down the road, but NXT’s new deal with the CW has certainly opened up a lot of possibilities.

WWE’s NXT brand is setting out on the road with their new CW deal. They will be in Chicago on October 1, and you can get tickets to that show here. The brand will also go to Saint Louis’ The Factor venue on October 8, and information about that show can be found here.
