Bobby Lashley, who enjoyed a highly successful second stint with WWE, capturing two WWE Championships and being featured in numerous major storylines, has recently left the company. He is rumored to be heading to AEW, though many fans believe that his presence there might not significantly impact the promotion.

Lashley was a central figure on WWE TV until WrestleMania 40 and he has since left WWE. Though he’s nearing the end of his career, he’s still in excellent shape and maintains the look and ability of a top wrestler.

We have also reported on Bobby Lashley’s AEW status following his WWE departure, as it is expected he will be joining Tony Khan’s company soon enough and this makes fans wonder how well he would be booked.

While speaking on his Cafe de Renee podcast, Renee Dupree was asked whether Bobby Lashley joining AEW would be a big move. Dupree stated that he believes Lashley becoming a part of AEW wouldn’t really make any difference.

“Potentially, would it make a difference? Absolutely not. Who’s he gonna work with? Like, who’s he physically? Look at their roster. Yeah, who does it make sense to put him in there with, dude?

We had previously reported that The Hurt Business is expected to revive in AEW. Nevertheless, we’ll have to see what’s next in store for him in Tony Khan’s company, as fans do want Bobby Lashley to make an impact in AEW.
