WWE has taken fans on quite a wild ride in 2024, and Bad Blood on October 5 will take over Atlanta’s All State Arena with a huge show. The premium live event already has some big matches booked, but now we know about one more to expect.
Another major championship match is reportedly set for WWE Bad Blood 2024. The Undisputed World Champion, Cody Rhodes, is already booked for a tag team match with Roman Reigns against The Bloodline, but the WWE World Championship will be defended during the event.
With just under three weeks to go before the highly anticipated return of the Bad Blood Premium Live Event, a new title bout has been revealed. According to Dave Meltzer’s Wrestling Observer Daily Update, GUNTHER is slated to defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Sami Zayn at the event.
While many fans had speculated that this match would be part of the Bad Blood card, there was some doubt given WWE’s confirmation of five other matches for the event. This match for GUNTHER will be an interesting one, because Sami Zayn was the man who defeated him at WrestleMania 40, ending his historic 666-day Intercontinental Title reign in the process.
Under Triple H’s leadership, five matches have become the standard for WWE’s secondary Premium Live Events, with only marquee shows like WrestleMania and SummerSlam surpassing that number in 2024.
WWE’s Bad Blood 2024 will go down on October 5 at Atlanta’s All State Arena. Tickets are going very fast, and you can find more information about how to get a seat to the show here. You may find the announced card for Bad Blood 2024 below.
