The September 13 WWE SmackDown took place at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, WA and it had a lot of memorable moments. However, it appears one match was significantly cut for time.

As seen during the season premiere episode of SmackDown on the USA Network, Michin and Piper Niven squared off against each other in singles competition. Fans expected a lengthy match between the two but it was more of a blink-and-you-miss-it affair, with Michin winning the bout.

According to Fightful Select, it was reported that the singles match between Michin and Piper Niven was originally planned to be longer. However, it was ultimately cut short due to time constraints.

“The Michin vs. Piper Niven match was originally supposed to get several more minutes before it got cut for time.”

It is certainly unfortunate that Michin and Piper Niven’s match got cut short like this as fans simply want women’s wrestlers to have proper matches without the fear of matches being cut. Nonetheless, WWE clearly has plans for Michin and Chelsea Green now, so we’ll have to see how their feud will progress in the coming weeks.
