WWE brought the season premiere of the blue brand on The USA Network during the September 13 SmackDown. That night included a lot of build toward Bad Blood, including a segment with Women’s Champion Nia Jax and her next challengers. Then things got out of control for her.

Nia Jax kicked off the segment by boasting about her dominant return to WWE, including her victories as Queen of the Ring and Women’s Champion. Confidently, she declared she would defend her title at Bad Blood, regardless of her opponent. Bayley interrupted, seeking a rematch, but Nia dismissed her, stating she no longer needed a posse like last year. Tensions rose further when Tiffany Stratton joined the exchange, mocking Bayley and asserting her position with the Money in the Bank briefcase. Bayley retaliated, accusing Tiffany of relying on Nia’s help to win, stirring conflict between the two.

As the confrontation heated up, Naomi made her entrance, standing up to Nia and Tiffany while reminding everyone of her past championship reign. She challenged Nia to prove herself, prompting Nia to suggest that Naomi and Bayley face off to determine her next challenger. Bayley proposed a triple threat, but Nia raised the stakes, suggesting a tag team match between Naomi and Bayley against herself and Tiffany, with the loser leaving SmackDown permanently. Naomi and Bayley accepted the challenge, leaving Nia and Tiffany coping and seething while Naomi and Bayley danced away in the ring as the segment ended.

One fan commented to a video of Bayley and Naomi on SmackDown, and they boldly said, “Bayley was bout to SMACK it. She stopped herself” This is the kind of tweet that many Superstars would ignore, but not Bayley.

The former Hugger admitted that she was almost a slapper during SmackDown. She fired back at this fan to say that she was just dancing, but nobody could blame her for letting that intrusive thought win.

“Oh, and you wouldn’t?!?!!! Let’s be real here guys. Ps – I was just dancing………..”

We will have to see what Bayley and Naomi do next, but it is apparent that they are going to team up soon enough. Only time will tell what the future holds, but Ringside News will be here with all the updates you need.

WWE Bad Blood is going down on October 5 at the State Farm Arena. You can check out ticket information for the Atlanta event here.
