WWE is gearing up for the September 13, 2024 episode of WWE SmackDown that will be taped tonight from the Capital One Arena in Washington D.C. Now, we have a spoiler lineup and all the backstage notes you need before the show.

Next week’s SmackDown has a lot in store for fans. The lineup for this week’s show goes as follows, courtsey of Fightful Select.

WWE SmackDown (9/13/24) Spoiler Lineup:

  • Triple H will deliver an in-ring promo.
  • WWE Title Cage Match featuring Cody Rhodes vs. Solo Sikoa.
  • Michin will face Piper Niven.
  • Tag team action with Kevin Owens and a mystery partner taking on A-Town Down Under.
  • Nia Jax promo.
  • Andrade will go head-to-head with Camelo Hayes.
  • A special segment with Nick Aldis.

WWE SmackDown (9/13/24) Backstage Notes:

  • SmackDown will debut a new theme song tonight, “Neva Play,” by Megan Thee Stallion and RM of BTS.
  • New SmackDown logos are now in place, as reported by WrestleVotes.
  • The broadcast will move away from the typical hard outs a few minutes before 10 PM EST, a staple for the last five years.
  • WWE Speed tapings include a match between Kairi Sane and Elektra Lopez.
  • Scheduled dark matches are Apollo Crews & Baron Corbin vs. Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson and Sheamus vs. Ludwig Kaiser.
  • Notably absent from the rundown is Gunther, though he was expected at the tapings.
  • Charles Robinson will referee the WWE Title match, with Jason Ayers overseeing the door.

Other WWE SmackDown (9/13/24) Spoilers:

  • Randy Orton is revealed as Kevin Owens’ mystery partner.
  • Although not listed, Roman Reigns is anticipated to make an appearance, with Michael Hayes and Bobby Roode producing the main event promos, as they typically handle his segments.
