WWE Considering Bringing in Legends for 9/13 SmackDown

WWE’s Friday Night SmackDown is returning to the USA Network tonight, and fans are undoubtedly looking forward to the show, especially for potential surprises. In fact, it appears WWE is considering bringing in several legends for the show.

Friday Night SmackDown is set to return to the USA Network tonight, September 13th, at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington. This marks the beginning of WWE’s next chapter on the network, as the company is ensuring preparations are in place for their new five-year deal with the USA Network.

According to a report by PWInsider, WWE has been considering bringing in several legends for tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown. Names mentioned backstage include Rob Van Dam, Teddy Long, Booker T, and Ron Simmons.

However, it’s important to note that none of these individuals have been seen at the venue or backstage so far. Their names have only been discussed within creative over the last two days.

We have also reported on a potential new logo for Friday Night SmackDown with its USA Network transition. Not only that, SmackDown will now have more flexibility with its end time on the USA Network. Regardless, it remains to be seen whether any of the aforementioned names will appear on SmackDown tonight.
