AEW has undeniably experienced a remarkable journey since its establishment in 2019, marked by significant growth and success. Sadly, it has encountered a gradual decline since All Out 2021, for the most part. Similar to any organization, AEW faces its share of challenges, and one of these is the struggle to sell tickets for their live shows.

On September 12, All Elite Wrestling taped AEW Collision at the Wright State University Nutter Center, in Dayton, Ohio, for this weekend’s episode. You may check out the spoiler results here.

The Nutter Center has a capacity of 10,400 but AEW Collision was set up for 3,292 and they sold 2,944 tickets as per WrestleTix. A less-than-favorable set of images from this week’s AEW Collision has surfaced and the depiction is definitely something that does not help the company.

Some critics believe AEW’s choice of oversized venues has led to unappealing visuals, highlighting empty seats and raising concerns about ticket sales. Despite this, there is optimism that AEW can overcome these challenges and regain its previous momentum and success.

However, there is apprehension that AEW’s current attendance figures could mirror WCW’s decline in 2000, prompting worries about the company’s future trajectory. Time will reveal whether AEW can effectively address these challenges, especially considering the recent improvements in their product.
