TNA presented its special event, Victory Road 2024 taking place on September 13, 2024, at the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio, Texas. With a highly enthralling match card, the event saw a title change in the X-Division title match between Zachary Wentz and “Speedball” Mike Bailey.

The match between the champion, Wentz and challenger Bailey kicked off with intense back-and-forth action, with Wentz quickly gaining the upper hand after a superkick and a dive to ringside.

As the match progressed, Bailey attempted to gain control with a submission hold targeting Wentz’s legs, but Wentz countered with a quick pin attempt and several kicks. Both men then trade strikes in a hard-hitting exchange, with the action spilling all over ringside.

Toward the end of the showdown, Bailey then took control with a Shooting Star Press, but Wentz continued to evade moves, only to be caught by a Poison-rana from Bailey. After a brutal sequence, Bailey hit the Flamingo Driver to secure the win and become the new TNA X-Division Champion.
