The highly anticipated September 13 edition of WWE SmackDown, being the season premiere episode on their new home, USA network was made extra special with the addition of huge starpower of WWE’s glorious legends.

The first cameo appearance was made by WWE Hall of Famer, Rob Van Dam alongside his wife and indie wrestler, Katie Forbes. The camera then panned to the loud noise of former SmackDown General Manager, Vickie Guerrero, also shown in attendance.

As the night progressed, the next legendary pair to be shown on tonight’s edition of SmackDown was WWE Hall of Famer couple Booker T and his wife, Sharmell. Right after, one of the most important backstage figures and popular stars of his time, the former Fabulous Freebirds member, Michael P.S Hayes, was shown followed by Ron Simmons and another former SmackDown GM Teddy Long.

The last pair of WWE Legends that were shown on television were current WWE Producer Bobby Roode and another member of the backstage crew, former NXT General Manager William Regal.

Apart from the legends, main roster stars Damian Priest, GUNTHER, Ludwig Kaiser and Sheamus were also shown in attendance. With SmackDown making a huge first impression on the USA network, the blue brand is looking to be a promising show each week for WWE moving forward.
