Tony Khan’s company has dropped a lot of merchandise in the past, and they’ve also made a ton of money. The company expanded their merchandise recently as well. All Elite Wrestling recently revealed their new World Champion hoodie design, and it’s not going well so far.

AEW recently unveiled their new “World Champion” pullover hoodie, featuring a bold design with the AEW World Championship prominently displayed. Priced at $99.99 and available for pre-order on ShopAEW.com, this premium hoodie is made-to-order with a delivery window of 8 to 10 weeks after pre-orders close. However, the reaction from fans has been less than enthusiastic. You can pre-order the hoodie here.

Many fans took to social media to voice their dissatisfaction with the design, calling it overly flashy and questioning its appeal. Twitter user @thisiseaston bluntly shared, “This is ugly, I’m not gon lie. Who’s the market for this?” Echoing similar sentiments, @CR97 commented, “Can you make a plain black hoodie or sweatshirt with AEW in small letters on the chest? I am not wearing any of these over-the-top hoodies.”

Some fans didn’t hold back their humor either, with @prowres_books sarcastically noting, “I’ve seen cheaper forms of contraception,” poking fun at the hoodie’s design and price tag. Others, like @YXNGSH4RK, kept it simple with a brief “Bruh,” encapsulating the general disbelief over the hoodie’s bold look.

While AEW likely aimed to create a unique and premium item for dedicated fans, the initial feedback suggests that the design and price point may not have hit the mark with many. Whether this will impact sales remains to be seen, but it’s clear that not everyone is eager to spend nearly $100 on the new hoodie.

We will keep our eye on this story for more updates. You can’t win with everyone, and while AEW may sell a few of these hoodies, it’s probably for the best that they pay close attention to the pre-sale numbers.

What’s your take on AEW’s new merchandise? Are you down to drop $99 on this hoodie? Let us know what you think in the comments section!
