WWE has inducted a lot of celebrities into their Hall of Fame, and that is an understatement. Every year features someone who has been loosely tied to the company or has made a few guest appearances, and it appears that Stephen Amell is close to making that list.

Could actor Stephen Amell return to the ring in WWE now that Heels is gearing up for a new season on Netflix around the same time that WWE Monday Night Raw moves to the platform? After all, Snoop Dogg is a Hall of Famer, and Amell has spent more time in the ring than the Doggfather.

During a recent sit-down interview with Chris Van Vliet of “INSIGHT,” Amell touched on this topic, while also stating he was told by Cody Rhodes that he might be one match away from “the Snoop Dogg treatment.”

“Cody thinks I’m one good WWE match away from maybe eventually getting the Snoop Dogg treatment, [and] going into the hall of fame,” Amell said with a smile.

Stephen Amell also spoke about the potential of returning to WWE for a match with Heels and Raw both being on Netflix, and his new show “Suits: LA” being on Peacock, the home of WWE premium live events.

“It depends on how much I want to stay in my marriage,” he quipped. “I did say that, look, if Heels comes out and there is some potential with the crossover with Raw being on Netflix and Suits on Peacock. The crossover elements are there for me in the WWE but I feel like I’d have to get my wife to sign off because she’s had to take me to the hospital twice after matches. Once for when I hurt myself with Heels and we definitely had to go get my hip x-rayed after All In. So maybe one more. I did go through the entire second season of Heels, we did a bunch of stuff and I came out fine.”

Stephen Amell has participated in three official wrestling matches, with his first taking place at WWE SummerSlam on August 23, 2015. Teaming up with Neville, Amell faced off against King Barrett and Stardust at the Barclays Center in New York City, marking his WWE debut in the ring. This crossover from his acting career as the star of Arrow to professional wrestling gained significant attention from both fans and media.

Amell’s second match occurred on November 17, 2017, during Ring of Honor’s Survival of the Fittest event. In this five-on-four handicap match, he teamed up with BULLET CLUB members Cody, Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, and Nick Jackson to defeat Flip Gordon, Scorpio Sky, and The Addiction (Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian). His third appearance came at the “ALL IN” event on September 1, 2018, where he wrestled Christopher Daniels, with special referee Jerry Lynn officiating, in what was promoted as “The Biggest Independent Wrestling Show Ever.”

We will keep an eye out for any more news regarding Stephen Amell and the pro wrestling world. You never know if he will make another WWE cameo to cement his supposed place in the WWE Hall of Fame.
