Ricochet is settling into All Elite Wrestling with ease, and after the September 11 edition of AEW Dynamite from his home state of Kentucky, he seemed right at home. AEW shared a backstage video of Ricochet catching up with familiar faces like Mark Briscoe, Orange Cassidy, and Chuck Taylor in the locker room.

Growing up in Paducah, Kentucky, Ricochet was asked about performing in front of his local crowd. The moment turned into a reunion when Chuck Taylor crossed his path, sparking memories of their deep history. Both Ricochet and Taylor started their careers around the same time and in the same region, wrestling together in promotions like Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, Chikara, and EVOLVE. Outside the ring, their bond has remained strong, with Ricochet once saying Taylor “has been there for me since day one.”

On AEW Dynamite, Ricochet picked up a solid victory against ROH Tag Team Champion Sammy Guevara, but the celebration was cut short when The Beast Mortos attacked him after the match. Guevara stepped in to help fend off the attack, leaving fans curious about what’s next for Ricochet.

With Ricochet thriving in AEW, many are now hoping for a potential rematch with Will Ospreay—a rivalry that has already produced legendary matches outside of AEW.
