MVP’s second run with WWE recently came to an end, but he’s not ready to hang up his boots just yet. The former United States Champion has started training for an in-ring return, signaling that his wrestling career is far from over.
The former United States Champion, MVP, who recently appeared at Bloodsport XI, has confirmed that he has no plans to return to WWE following the end of his contract. It was officially confirmed that he is no longer associated with the company, as his profile has been moved to the Alumni section of WWE’s website.
MVP took to his Instagram and shared an update about his wrestling career, revealing that he’s returned to the ring for training after some time away. He plans to continue preparing for a few more weeks before being fully ready to compete again.
Although his official in-ring retirement is on the horizon, he emphasized that he’s not done yet and still has some matches left before stepping away from wrestling for good. MVP was clearly at home taking a bump again after so long.
”The Ronin of professional wrestling has returned! I literally hit the ring yesterday!!! 1st bump in a while. A few more weeks of training and a bit of @justformen and I’ll be ready!!! My official in ring retirement is near. But, it’s not here yet!!!! #ogflow #ringrust #professionalwrestling #professionalwrestler #independentwrestler #theronin”
MVP has also announced his first match following his WWE departure and confirmed that his in-ring retirement will be a permanent one. Nonetheless, we’ll have to see how MVP will fare in his in-ring return, which will take place on November 24 in Jersey City.
