There is a lot of money in pro wrestling title belts. WWE makes a killing on their specialty and limited edition belts, which honors everything from Hall of Famers to NHL teams. Now, an authentic piece of pro wrestling history has hit the market.
A rare and iconic piece of wrestling history has surfaced for sale, as a genuine, ring-used TNA/Impact Wrestling Women’s Championship belt has been listed for purchase at $40,000. Sold by the renowned title belt expert, BeltFanDan, this championship is an important artifact from the early years of women’s wrestling in North America.
This one-of-a-kind Knockouts Championship belt was originally created by legendary belt maker Dave Millican, with the design crafted by Rico Mann. The belt’s initial version featured dual plating and a distinctive white leather strap. However, after years of wear, it underwent significant repairs in December 2014 by Andrew of Wildcat Championship Belts.
The belt was meticulously restored, replacing broken bolts with new Chicago screws and swapping out the dual plating for 24k gold plating. It was also given a fresh blue and black color scheme. The iconic white leather strap was replaced with a new black leather strap, and a new two-layer Wildcat TNA logo tip was added.
What makes this championship belt especially unique is that it’s the only ring-used version of this design. The title has been featured in countless historic matches that shaped the landscape of women’s wrestling in North America—long before WWE’s “Diva’s Revolution.”
This prestigious title was held by some of the most legendary TNA IMPACT Knockouts, including Gail Kim, Awesome Kong, Taylor Wilde, Angelina Love, Tara (Victoria), ODB, Madison Rayne, Mickie James, Winter (Katie Lea Burchill), Velvet Sky, Brooke Adams, Jessicka Havok, and Taryn Terrell.
For serious collectors or wrestling historians, this is a rare opportunity to own a pivotal piece of TNA/Impact Wrestling history. Anyone interested in this eBay listing can find it here. We will have to see how long this rare item lasts on eBay.
This championship belt isn’t just a piece of memorabilia; it represents the early days of a movement that laid the foundation for the future of women’s wrestling.
