WWE fans were eager to snag tickets for Survivor Series: WarGames, set to take place on November 30 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC. As expected, demand was high, with a long wait time reported during the pre-sale, leaving many hopeful attendees anxiously waiting to secure their seats.
Although no matches have been officially announced yet, we’re getting WarGames and that is enough to move tickets. Fans trying to get a seat for the show were met with an unwelcomed surprise.
According to WrestleTix, the pre-sale moved quickly. “Barring insane prices, I expect this one to sell very fast based on recent turnouts at this venue for the company,” the account shared on social media. After 12 minutes in the queue, they finally gained access to the ticket map.
“12 minutes later, and I’m in. The entire arena (essentially no stage) will be used. Only 960 tickets are currently available, but it’s not clear how much of the upper deck was opened initially. Seats are popping in and out so if you’re still looking, keep checking the map. As has been the case for all recent PLEs, much of the remaining floor availability will be priced high and linger until prices drop closer to the show.”
However, it wasn’t just the long wait that left fans frustrated, because staggeringly high ticket prices were also a major issue. A user on Squared Circle on Reddit expressed their disappointment: “I just went into the presale for Survivor Series and never left so fast. I paid $120 for SmackDown tickets recently pretty close to the front row. The same tickets are going for nearly $2000 for Survivor Series. Who can seriously afford to go to this? Disappointed in WWE as Bad Blood tickets aren’t nearly this bad.”
As with recent Premium Live Events, many of the remaining floor seats were priced at a premium, a trend that often results in those seats lingering until prices drop closer to the event. Fans eager to attend should monitor the ticket map regularly, as demand remains high for this marquee WWE event.
