WWE has seen many great stables come and go, but some of them are tossed out there in discussions about who would fill those roles in the faction today. Evolution made history as a stable, and Drew McIntyre has some interesting choices of whom he would like in that faction with him.

During a recent Reddit AMA, Drew McIntyre gave fans insight into who he would choose to be part of his own Evolution-style faction. The original Evolution stable, led by Triple H, featured a mix of veteran talent and rising stars, with Ric Flair, Randy Orton, and Batista. They dominated back in the day, and they loved to party. During that AMA, McIntyre was asked to envision his own version of the iconic group.

When asked which wrestlers he would pick to fill the roles of a veteran and two up-and-coming stars, McIntyre didn’t hesitate to name Sheamus as his veteran, humorously noting, “Sheamus can do the Ric Flair role as he’s so old.” McIntyre’s playful jab at his longtime friend and fellow veteran gave fans a lighthearted moment, showing their bond both in and out of the ring. For the rising stars in his stable, McIntyre selected Oba Femi and Bron Breakker.

“Good question. Oba Femi and Bron Breakker, these two guys are studs, and I see big futures for them, if given the opportunity I would love to mentor them. Sheamus can do the Ric Flair role as he’s so old.”

Both Oba Femi and Bron Breakker are considered promising talents in WWE’s developmental system, with Breakker already making waves as a standout performer in NXT. McIntyre expressed his enthusiasm about mentoring the next generation of WWE talent, emphasizing his belief in their potential if given the right opportunities.

Drew McIntyre’s hypothetical stable showcases his desire to guide the future of WWE, while also acknowledging the experience and charisma that Sheamus brings to the table. Fans were quick to applaud McIntyre’s choices, with many excited by the prospect of him leading a new faction in the same vein as Evolution.

We will have to see how things pan out for Drew McIntyre and CM Punk. The two are set to battle in a Hell in a Cell match at Bad Blood on October 7. That match is a long time coming, and CM Punk had an interesting reaction to the match, but it’s anyone’s guess whether it will actually smother the fiery rivalry between the two.
