Drew McIntyre has emerged as one of the most popular WWE superstars in 2024 using his powerhouse social media antics, exceptional charisma and high-profile feud with CM Punk on Monday Night RAW.
The Scottish Warrior is all set to star in the upcoming comedy action film, ‘The Killer’s Game’, which will be released on September 13. Former WWE superstar Dave Bautista will also be among the lead star cast.
In a recent Reddit AMA as part of the promotion for the film, McIntyre was asked a very interesting question about his wrestling career by a user. The Reddit user asked Drew McIntyre about his top 5 picks for stars outside WWE that he would like to compete against.
“If you had the chance to wrestle people who are not currently in WWE, who would be in your top 5?”
The former three-time WWE Champion named AEW stars Will Ospreay and Kazuchika Okada, current TNA sensation and fellow Scottish star Joe Hendry and finally top Japanese stars Tetsuya Naito and Tomohiro Ishii.
“Ospreay, Okada, Joe Hendry, Naito, Ishii.”
The only match that is possible to take place from Drew’s choice of opponents could be him against Joe Hendry, citing McIntyre’s past tenure with TNA and their ongoing successful collaboration with WWE NXT.
Regardless of when the other matches would take place, Drew McIntyre looks ahead to his upcoming Hell in a Cell match against CM Punk in hopes of ending this heated feud and moving further to pursue other endeavours in WWE.
