Darby Allin is not only one of the most dynamic AEW stars to step inside the ring but also a remarkable individual outside the squared circle. Recently, the face-painted star teamed up with skateboarding legend Tony Hawk for a noble cause.
The former TNT Champion and ace skateboarder himself, Darby Allin, took to his Instagram stories to announce a collaboration with Tony Hawk to raise funds for The Skatepark Project while signing 8×10 pictures of himself and Hawk that would be available for sale soon.
The Skatepark Project is a charity organization, formerly known as The Tony Hawk Foundation, to help underserved communities create safe and inclusive public skateparks for the younger generation, with Darby and Tony now at the forefront to help them.
“Waddup, this is Darby Allin, me and Tony Hawk have teamed up to raise money for The Skateboard project. These 8x10s signed by myself and Tony are going to be on sale very very soon.”
While Darby Allin is looking to make some important contributions in his personal life, he had an important confrontation with Jon Moxley this week on the September 11 edition of AEW Dynamite. Allin and Moxley had a heated exchange, following which Mox goaded Darby to put his earned AEW World title match on the line in a bout against him at the AEW Grand Slam event, taking place on September 25 at the Arthur Ashe Stadium.
As Darby Allin goes on the road to reach New York for his big match, he decided to take up a significant initiative to help change lives with the legend Tony Hawk.
