WWE Superstar Braun Strowman continues to showcase his unique personality and versatility both inside and outside the wrestling ring. Known for his imposing size and dominant in-ring performances, Strowman recently shared an old photo from his early days.
The former WWE Universal Champion took to his Instagram to drop a photo from his Strongman Competition days 15 years ago. Unlike his bearded and long hair look nowadays, Strowman can be sporting short hair and a clean shave look.
Braun Strowman stated that it was his first win at a Strongman competition named Beast of the East in Columbia, SC, with only two weeks of training. Furthermore, Strowman revealed that he gained over 120 lbs over the next three years, with his weight reaching his highest, 418 lbs and won every competition he entered except 4 of them.
“Holy cow talk about a memory!!! This popped up on my book of faces and the interweb says this was 15 years. 15 years ago I one my first #Strongman competition ( Beast of the East in Columbia SC) with only two weeks of training going into it!!! I weighed 285lbs in this pic over the next three years I would go on to win every competition I enter except maybe 4. I also gained over 120lbs reaching the largest I ever got weighing in at 418lbs What a hell of a ride the last 15 years if my life has been to say the least lol.”
Since that time, Braun Strowman has come a long way in his career, reigning as a top name in WWE and etching multiple championships and accolades to his resume along with some of the most high-profile matches in WWE.
Beyond his time in the ring and quirky activities, Strowman has also been seen doing wheelies on small cycles, participating in drag racing events, including the famous Gator Nationals, and recently throwing the first pitch for the Milwaukee Brewers game.
