AEW is riding high after their All Out pay-per-view event, which included a Casino Gauntlet match filled with surprises. The September 11 AEW Dynamite promised to determine the next challengers for The Young Bucks, with a big match lined up to settle it.

Broadcast live from Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky, the show featured a Tag Team Casino Gauntlet Match, where the winners would earn a shot at The Young Bucks for the AEW World Tag Team Titles at Grand Slam, taking place on September 25, 2024, at Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York City.

The Young Bucks themselves made their way to the ring, eager to witness the action unfold. FTR entered first, with Kyle Fletcher and Will Ospreay joining the fray. The Righteous followed as the third team to step into the mix.

The match moved at a blistering pace, with countless high-impact moves from all sides as the teams battled for the prestigious title shot at Arthur Ashe Stadium. The Undisputed Era’s Matt Taven and Mike Bennett joined next, with the Young Bucks watching closely from the entrance as the action continued through a commercial break.

The Acclaimed entered to a roar from the crowd, quickly becoming fan favorites. They nearly sealed the win with back-to-back Fameassers on Dax Harwood, only to have Mace and Mansoor arrive and throw everyone off track.

The teams continued to work together in chaotic sequences, including a massive chain suplex that rocked the ring just before another commercial break. When the broadcast resumed, Top Flight arrived, but their fresh legs didn’t last long before they were slowed down by the onslaught of action.

FTR almost clinched the win with a Shatter Machine, but the pinfall was broken up by the other teams. The Outrunners then entered the match, bringing the crowd to its loudest moment of the night as they cleared the ring and delivered double dives onto The Righteous outside. The Grizzled Young Veterans joined the match but were intercepted by FTR, resulting in a brawl that spilled to the backstage area.

In a thrilling conclusion, Kyle Fletcher secured the pinfall with help from Will Ospreay, setting up the Young Bucks’ opponents for Grand Slam. The Young Bucks, watching from the ramp, appeared intrigued as they eyed their new challengers.

Looking ahead, AEW’s next Grand Slam event will take place on February 15, 2025, at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, marking the company’s first event in Australia. But all eyes are on the final edition of AEW Grand Slam at Arthur Ashe Stadium for now.
