Ricochet’s transition from WWE to AEW has created a lot of excitement, especially following his standout debut at AEW All In at Wembley Stadium. Since joining AEW a few weeks ago, Ricochet has now set his sights on Will Ospreay, calling him out for AEW Grand Slam 2024.

AEW is set to return to Arthur Ashe Stadium for Grand Slam on September 25. AEW International Champion Will Ospreay shared his excitement on Twitter, recalling how he wanted to perform there after watching Bryan Danielson take on Kenny Omega at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam 2021.

”I cannot tell you how happy I am to get to perform in Arthur Ashe Stadium! First time I saw Kenny & Danielson in that ring I just knew I wanted to be inside that building blowing New York away!”

In response, Ricochet called out Will Ospreay, telling him they would meet at AEW Grand Slam and referring to Ospreay as “little bro.”

”See you there, little bro.”

Ospreay and Ricochet have a history of memorable matches from their time before Ricochet joined WWE. Ospreay has expressed interest in facing Ricochet again, especially during a period in 2024 when Ricochet’s WWE future was uncertain, so we’ll have to wait and see if the match will end up taking place at AEW Grand Slam this month, as fans would love to see it happen.
