R-Truth Drops Comment During Shannon Sharpe’s NSFW Live Stream

R-Truth has a wide circle of friends outside professional wrestling, and while it’s unclear how close he is with Shannon Sharpe, it looks like he may want to keep a closer eye on Sharpe’s Instagram account from now on. Sharpe hosted an impromptu live stream that took an unexpected turn, getting very real very quickly.

Sharpe claims that his Instagram was hacked after a sexually explicit video was posted on his account Wednesday. The minute-and-a-half video featured audio of a woman moaning, although no faces, including Sharpe’s, were shown in the clip. At one point, the anonymous voice appeared to say Sharpe’s name. The video started with the camera pointed at what seemed to be the ceiling before flipping to face downward for the remainder of the clip.

Sharpe, who has been notoriously private about his personal life, was once engaged to fitness trainer Katy Kellner in 2016 but has never been married. With over 3.2 million Instagram followers, thousands of people tuned in to the NSFW live stream before it was removed.

As the video played, some Instagram users took to the comments section to poke fun at Sharpe. “Hang up the phone Big Unc,” one user wrote, referencing Sharpe’s nickname. Another commented, “UNC trippin right now.” But that’s not the only connection to wrestling in this story—one WWE Superstar was also watching the stream.

R-Truth joined the thousands tuning in and dropped a comment during the stream, writing, “YOOOO UNC that’s not PG.” He went off with a slew of other comments which you may find below.

Known as a comedic gem in the pro wrestling world, and Cody Rhodes also has beef with him to this day, R-Truth’s playful response showed he’s aware of events both inside and outside the wrestling ring. His quip highlighted the crossover influence Shannon Sharpe holds, even capturing the attention of wrestling stars like R-Truth.
