Natalya, a long-standing pillar of WWE’s women’s division since her debut in 2008, recently made her much-anticipated return on the September 9 episode of Monday Night RAW after a brief hiatus.

The Queen of Harts teamed up with Zelina Vega and Lyra Valkyria in a match against Sonya Deville, Zoey Stark, and Shayna Baszler, playing a key role in her team’s victory. The crowd in Alberta erupted when her music hit, marking her surprise comeback.

During her time away, Natalya revealed that she did some personal projects and also underwent eye surgery to correct a condition she has had since birth. In a new post on Instagram, Nattie shared that she had been born with astigmatism in her left eye, which left her nearly blind in that eye and at the recommendation of her friend and fellow WWE superstar, Titus O’Neil, checked out News Omeye’s services.

“Thank you so much Dr Newsome at @newsomeye for fixing my eyes! I’ve never felt better because the world is crystal clear- literally! I was born with an astigmatism in my left eye, leaving me with one very weak eye, almost blind. My right eye did all the work for me. For years I’ve tried to fix my left eye, as it was basically useless, and I was always told “just wear a contact in it.” The contacts would irritate my eye so much and I would have such a hard time putting them in and removing them every day. And they didn’t help. I pretty much gave up until a friend of mine told me to check out @newsomeye. (Thank you @titusoneilwwe 🙏).”

For years, Natalya struggled with contacts that constantly irritated her. However, thanks to advancements in medical technology, she was able to undergo two corrective procedures: an EVOS lens implant in her left eye to fix astigmatism and PRK surgery in her right eye to balance both eyes’ vision, ultimately giving her 20/20 vision in both eyes.

“Finally there was a procedure/technology that has given me 20/20 vision in both my eyes. Newsome also tuned up my good eye and made it even stronger. When I tell you I see the world differently now, I really mean it. It changed my life in the best way. I had an EVOS lense implant in my left eye to correct the astigmatism. And I had a PRK surgery in my right eye to get it balanced perfectly with my left eye.”

Natalya also expressed her gratitude to WWE and Paul “Triple H” Levesque for their support during her break, allowing her to recover fully before returning to action. Now with her vision corrected, she looks forward to making a strong impact upon her return to WWE television.
