Mindy’s Bakery Owner Reveals How CM Punk’s All Out 2022 Rant Boosted Business

CM Punk’s arrival in AEW was highly anticipated, bringing a fresh chapter to his career. However, it all ultimately went up in flames but the owner of Mindy’s Bakery has now revealed how CM Punk’s All Out 2022 rant benefitted her business.

CM Punk’s debut in AEW in 2021 was a big deal, showing how important he was in the company. He won the AEW World Championship at Double or Nothing 2022, which was a huge achievement. However, his title reign was cut short due to injuries, including a torn triceps he got during during All Out 2022.

CM Punk made waves during his controversial AEW All Out 2022 press conference, where he publicly criticized The Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, Hangman Page, and Colt Cabana. While airing his frustrations, Punk was notably snacking on food from Mindy’s Bakery, a detail he made sure to highlight.

Mindy Segal, owner of Mindy’s Bakery, reflected on Punk’s shout-out during an interview with Jeremy Jacobowitz on Let Me Tell You Why. She expressed gratitude for Punk’s ongoing support, noting how his mention of the bakery has had a lasting positive impact. Segal shared that Punk, who lives in her neighborhood and frequently visited her restaurant, has always been supportive of her and her staff. Even now, customers visit the bakery because of Punk’s endorsement.

“I will tell you, it’s the gift that keeps on giving. He is such a great guy. He lives in my neighborhood. He used to come to my restaurant all the time and sit at the bar and eat. He’s a great, very very good man. He has always supported me. He’s always supported my staff. I didn’t know the magnitude of (the press conference). It’s insane. People still come here because of CM Punk.”

With that said, CM Punk wasn’t a fan of AEW airing the All In backstage footage. CM Punk also distanced himself from AEW significantly, making it clear he wants no further association with the company and that’s for the best.
