The September 11 AEW Dynamite came to us live from Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky, as the fallout from AEW’s controversial All Out event continued. The show kicked off with Jon Moxley addressing his shocking actions, as he had plenty to explain after his betrayal of Bryan Danielson.

Following Danielson’s successful defense of the AEW World Title at All Out, Moxley stunned fans by attacking The American Dragon, suffocating him in a brutal and unexpected move. This week on Dynamite, Moxley took the opportunity to explain his actions and motivations.

Moxley revealed that both he and Danielson had intentions of starting something new in AEW, but the egos running rampant backstage had become too much for him to handle. He expressed his frustration with the out-of-control attitudes in the locker room, suggesting that he could no longer tolerate them.

During his promo, Moxley recalled how William Regal once called Danielson his favorite wrestler, something that had stuck with him. He went on to say that Regal, whom he referred to as “His Lordship,” had told him that men like them can’t pretend to be anything other than who they are.

Moxley then dismissed the idea of being a villain or hero, declaring himself “the one true king of these lands” and claiming that was his purpose. He ended the segment by boldly stating, “I choose war.”

It was a powerful start to this week’s AEW Dynamite, but it’s clear that the story between Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson is far from over. Keep following Ringside News for more updates on this ongoing saga.
