Big Bill and Real1 used to light up WWE as Big Cass and Enzo Amore. They were the Realest Guys in the Room, and they also sold a boat load of merchandise. They both departed from WWE separately on less than favorable terms, but Big Bill is pulling for the Skywalker Smacktalker to this day.
Big Bill is advocating for his former WWE tag team partner, Enzo Amore, to get another shot in professional wrestling. The duo was a popular tag team during their time in WWE before they eventually split. In 2018, WWE released Amore following allegations of sexual assault, though the investigation was later dropped.
Speaking on Rasslin’ with Brandon F. Walker, Big Bill commented on his current relationship with Amore and expressed his admiration for his former partner. They are still good friends, and he really hopes someone takes a chance on signing him.
“Still good friends with Enzo. He’s the f*cking man. Enzo is…people ask me about Enzo about the time, and I tell them, he might be the only person I know that’s a one of one. There’s no one else on the planet like him. He is a one of one. You cannot replicate him. He is an incredibly talented guy, man. One of one.”
He continued by emphasizing Amore’s unique presence and talent. Enzo Amore could still talk up a storm, and work in the ring a bit when needed. On a managerial front, there may not be many who can top his charisma.
“He is a unique breed, man. I love Enzo. I really hope he gets another shot in pro wrestling. He’s too talented to not. He’s too talented to not. He’s so clever, unique. Wrote most of his own promos. He’s just a funny guy, he’s very clever, he’s very unique, one of one.”
Big Bill further underscored Amore’s distinctive charisma, stating, “He walks in a room, and you just know he’s there without even looking. Enzo is a one of one. I can’t say that about many people I’ve come across. He’s a one of one.”
Since their time in WWE, Big Bill has been open about his personal struggles but has worked hard to overcome them. His efforts have led to a career resurgence in AEW, where he’s gaining new momentum. Meanwhile, Enzo Amore, now wrestling as Real 1, has mostly competed on the independent circuit, with his most recent high-profile appearance being at NJPW’s All Star Junior Festival USA in 2023.
Despite Amore’s current independent status, Big Bill remains confident that his former partner deserves another opportunity in professional wrestling, given his talent and originality. WWE could certainly find a spot for Enzo, especially as the manager for someone like Omos, who has been greatly underused. If you think about the possibilities, that certainly makes Enzo Amore’s WWE return much more likely.
