The Blade is one of the few stars who has been with AEW since its inception. Currently sidelined due to injury, it has now been revealed that he recently underwent back fusion surgery.
In case you were not aware, The Blade has been out of action due to back injury for the past several months now. Naturally, fans started wondering when he would return to AEW television.
The Blade took to his Instagram and announced that his back fusion surgery was a success and took the time to thank everyone for their continued support. He expressed his gratitude, saying it meant a lot to him as a “Grizzled Vet Utility Brother.”

The Blade had previously mentioned he was going to undergo surgery and fans are glad he finally did. Fans and fellow wrestlers alike have been sending their well-wishes as he focuses on recovery, so we’ll have to wait and see when The Blade will make his triumphant return to AEW television.
