Since joining AEW last year, Adam Copeland wasted no time in establishing himself as one of the top stars. Obviously, there are many people who want to see his wife Beth Phoenix join him in AEW and he has now addressed that fact.

Beth Phoenix dominated during the height of her career and has been mostly inactive in the ring for a while. Her last match was at Elimination Chamber 2023, where she and her husband, Adam Copeland, defeated Finn Balor and Rhea Ripley.

Beth Phoenix recently finished her time with WWE after her contract expired, and she was not offered a new deal or a legends contract. With her departure, there is growing speculation that she might make her debut in AEW.

While speaking to Dean Moses of AMNY, Adam Copeland was asked if he would ever team up with his wife, Beth Phoenix, in AEW. While he said he’d love to, he also shared that they are thinking about working together in a different way. Copeland revealed that they’re considering opening a wrestling school in the future.

Copeland explained that they have discussed starting a “finishing school” for wrestlers who feel like they’re missing a key element in their skills. He mentioned that it would be located in Asheville, where wrestlers could train with him, Beth Phoenix, and FTR. However, they are still debating if they have enough time to commit to this idea.

”When asked if fans could see him team with his wife — known in WWE as Beth Phoenix — in AEW, Copeland said that while he would love that he would also like to team with her in another endeavor. Copeland revealed that he is mulling over starting a wrestling school with his wife in the future.”

“One thing we have talked about is maybe starting a type of finishing school, where, if there are people within the industry that feel like they’re just missing a little something, we’ll come on down to Asheville because you got FTR, you got me, and you got Beth Phoenix,” Copeland said. “We’re debating that and then just seeing if that’s a time commitment that we even have at this stage.”

Britt Baker made it clear that she wants to see Beth Phoenix in AEW as well and Phoenix also addressed her in-ring future following her WWE exit. Therefore, it remains to be seen whether Phoenix will make her way to AEW this year, as fans would love to see her there.
