Zelina Vega Reveals Rey Mysterio’s Touching Gesture Before 9/9 WWE RAW

Zelina Vega has been gaining a ton of fan support over the past couple of months now, with the hashtag #PushZelina trending in support of her and this week on RAW was no different. In fact, Vega revealed Rey Mysterio’s touching gesture before the show.

During the September 9 episode of WWE Raw, Zelina Vega teamed up with Lyra Valkyria and the returning Natalya to defeat the Pure Fusion Collective trio of Sonya Deville, Zoey Stark, and Shayna Baszler.

Fans noticed a message written on Vega’s sleeve, which was a tribute to her late father. Zelina Vega took to Twitter and later revealed that Rey Mysterio had written the message for her in what was definitely a touching gesture.

”Best part about that.. Rey wrote it for me. 🥲”

Zelina Vega was also emotional after seeing a fan sign on RAW last week, which was about her father. During the 9/11 attacks, Zelina Vega tragically lost her father, Michael Trinidad, who was working in one of the Twin Towers when it was struck by a plane.

Though her father is no longer with her, she has never forgotten him. This deep connection is why she becomes emotional when talking about him, and fans understand the significance behind her feelings.
