It’s Tuesday night and you know what that means! WWE NXT will go down tonight, and Ringside News has got you covered with live play-by-play results coverage for the September 10, 2024 episode.

WWE NXT Results (9/10/2024):

The show opens up with a teaser hyping up the segments for tonight’s NXT. We then see NXT General Manager Ava’s announcement that The Rascalz (Trey Miguel and TNA X-Division Champion Zachary Wentz) won’t be able to compete for the WWE NXT Tag Team Titles tonight and that they will be replaced by The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins).

We then see separate shots of the arrivals of Trick Williams, Giulia and TNA Knockouts World Champion “The Juggernaut” Jordynne Grace to the Performance Center from the parking lot, with OTM’s Jaida Parker waiting with a baseball bat in hand.

Vic Joseph and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T then welcomes us to the show and we get the entrances of the first match of the night, which is the WWE NXT Tag Team Championship Match.

WWE NXT Tag Team Championship Match: Nathan Frazer and Axiom (c) vs. The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins)

The match starts off with Montez Ford and Axiom. Ford hits Axiom with a shoulder tackle, then follows it up with a trio of mat returns and cinches in a side headlock on him. Axiom then responds with a dropkick, but Angelo Dawkins and Frazer tag in and Dawkins hits Frazer with a shoulder tackle. Frazer then sends Dawkins crashing out of the ring, then looks to fly. Dawkins then nails Frazer with a right hand, but Frazer sends Dawkins crashing into the middle turnbuckle face first. Axiom then tags in and goes back and forth with Dawkins, but Axiom tags in Frazer. Frazer then wears down Dawkins, then tags in Axiom. Axiom then cinches in a sleeper on Dawkins, but Dawkins escapes and hits Axiom with a Fallaway Slam. Frazer and Ford then tag in and Ford nails Frazer with a couple of clotheslines. Frazer then intercepts Ford with a boot, but Ford nails Frazer with a uranage and follows it up with a standing moonsault. Ford then goes for a pin, but Frazer kicks out. Dawkins and Axiom then tag in and The Profits double team on Axiom. Ford then tags back in and Axiom climbs to the top, then hits a crossbody. Frazer then hits a 450 Splash on Ford and goes for a pin, but Ford kicks out. Axiom then tags in and double teams on Ford with Frazer, but Dawkins tags in. Axiom then hits Dawkins with a Spanish Fly off the top, but Dawkins gets Frazer in an Electric Chair position. Ford then tags in and climbs to the top, then follows it up with a blockbuster and goes for a pin. Tama Tonga then breaks the fall, forcing the disqualification.

The winners and still the WWE NXT Tag Team Champions due to a disqualification, Nathan Frazer and Axiom!

After the match, Tanga Loa and Jacob Fatu join Tama Tonga to beat down The Street Profits, Axiom and Nathan Frazer. Fatu then climbs to the top and flies to land on Angelo Dawkins. The Bloodline then stands tall to end the segment.

Vic Joseph and Booker T then hypes up WWE RAW moving back to 2 hours. Joseph then sends us to an NXT Anonymous video. “The Don Of NXT’ Tony D’Angelo was shown paying off an unseen person to take care of Oba Femi for disrespecting Adriana Rizzo.

We then get a video package on Giulia, which showed some of her highlights in Japan as well as her NXT debut a few weeks ago.

We then get the entrances of the next match of the night, which is a Singles Match.

Singles Match: Giulia vs. Chelsea Green

The match starts off with Green slapping Giulia. Giulia then responds with a headbutt, then sends Green crashing into the corner and sends her across the ring. Giulia then follows it up with a splash on Green and hits a dropkick on her off the top rope, but Green sends Giulia’s head bouncing off her knee. Giulia then responds with a forearm and wears Green down with a submission, then drapes Green through the middle rope and hits a knee on her head. Green then locks in a sleeper on Giulia, but Giulia gets Green in an electric chair position. Green then escapes and hits Giulia with a German suplex, then follows it up with a flatliner and goes for a pin. Giulia then kicks out and delivers some strikes on Green, then follows it up with a Shining Wizard and a back suplex. Giulia then hits a hanging neckbreaker on Green off the apron and sends her back in the ring, but Green rolls out of the other side and sends Giulia crashing over the announce desk. Green then sends Giulia back in the ring and climbs to the top, but Giulia moves out of the way and sends Green crashing into the mat. Giulia then nails Green with a running knee and follows it up with the Glorious Driver for the win.

The winner of the Singles Match, Giulia!

Vic Joseph then plugs Roxanne Perez vs. Giulia for the WWE NXT Women’s Title on the Chicago CW debut show.

We then head to the back, where Blake Howard is interviewing Trick Williams, who was surrounded by security. Trick talks about never being in a Last Man Standing Match anymore, but that’s not going to stop him from getting the NXT Championship back. Trick then says Pete Dunne is a class one butch. Trick then hypes up how he’ll face “All Ego” Ethan Page for the WWE NXT Championship on the CW debut.

Clips from twitter were then shown of TNA Knockouts World Champion “The Juggernaut” Jordynne Grace pumping iron in the Performance center. Grace then cuts a promo about her open challenge. Grace says the more formidable opponents she faces, the more prestigious the Knockouts Title becomes.

“The Young OG” Je’von Evans and Cedric Alexander then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night, which is a WWE NXT Heritage Cup Championship Match.

Vic Joseph then plugs CM Punk and Randy Orton appearing on the first two CW shows for NXT.

Lexis King was then shown in a barber shop getting his beard done. King calls his fans “Intellexuals” and shows some Tik Tok clips of his highlights. King says he’s Oro Mensah’s daddy now and he is the king. King then brags about his beard. Mensah then shows up and jumps King while he was on the barber chair.

We then see WWE NXT Women’s North American Champion Kelani Jordan psyching up Lola Vice in the locker room. Fallon Henley, Jacy Jayne and Jasmyn Nyx then shows up to talk trash. Vice and Jayne then had to be pulled apart.

No Quarter Catch Crew then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night.

WWE NXT Heritage Cup Championship Match: No Quarter Catch Crew’s Charlie Dempsey (c) vs. “The Young OG” Je’Von Evans

The match starts off with Dempsey wearing Evans’ arm down with a submission hold, but Evans returns the favor and wears Dempsey’s arm down with a couple of submissions of his own. Dempsey then locks in another submission on Evans and both men go back and forth. Evans then hits a hurricanrana on Dempsey as the first round ends. The second round begins and Dempsey and Evans take turns in pinning each other. Evans then looks to roll Dempsey up, but Dempsey blocks it before Evans sends Dempsey crashing into the corner. Dempsey then responds with a Half Nelson suplex and transitions into a pinfall to score the first fall. The third round ends and Evans has scored a fall. Evans then hits a suplex on Dempsey, but Dempsey responds with one of his own and locks in a submission on Evans as round four ends. Dempsey then keeps the hold locked in for a few more seconds after the clock has run out, but Alexanders pulls him off and Myles Borne gets in his face. The fifth round begins and Evans looks to hit a springboard crossbody on Dempsey. Dempsey then intercepts Evans with an uppercut mid-air, but Evans rolls him up. Dempsey then kicks out and Evans hits him with a spinning roundhouse kick, then follows it up with a clothesline off the top and goes for a pin. Borne then puts Dempsey’s foot on the bottom rope to break the fall, but the referee catches him and Alexander flies over the top. Both men then brawl to the back as Evans flies over the top to land on Dempsey on the outside and sends him back in the ring. Tavion Heights then hits Evans with a belly-to-belly suplex as he looks to get back in the ring and Dempsey pins Evans for the win.

We then get a promo from TNA’s Rosemary. The camera focuses on some Five Nights at Freddy looking toys, some dollhouse and a bed. Rosemary talks about Lyra Valkyria and Tatum Paxley having made their bed, but they didn’t bother to look under it. Random scenes were then shown of Rosemary and Wendy Choo acting creepy and destroying the dollhouse.

WWE NXT North American Champion Oba Femi was then shown walking through the hallways.

We then head to the back, where WWE NXT Champion “All Ego” Ethan Page was being interviewed by Sarah Schreiber. Page welcomes the fans to NX-Me. Page then plugs the NXT CW debut. Schreiber then asks Page for his #1 Contender prediction. Page says a lot of people are afraid of Dunne, but he’s figured him out. Page then says Williams is chasing ghosts, but he’s not going to catch lightning in a bottle twice. Schreiber then asks Page for his prediction. Page says he is picking himself because he’ll just have to pick up the scraps of whoever wins.

WWE NXT North American Champion Oba Femi is waiting inside the ring. His mystery opponent chosen for him by “The Don Of NXT” Tony D’Angelo, TNA’s Hammerstone then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night.

Singles Match: WWE NXT North American Champion Oba Femi vs. TNA’s Hammerstone

The match starts off with both men staring each other down. Both men then lock up, but Hammerstone sends Femi crashing into the mat as we see The D’Angelo Family watching the action from backstage. Hammerstone then climbs to the top, then hits Femi with a missile dropkick and clotheslines him out of the ring. Hammerstone then follows him up out, but Femi nails him on the apron and slides back in the ring to join him. Femi then clotheslines Hammerstone from behind, then delivers some stomps on his spine and hits him with a couple of elbow drops, then follows it up with a Fallaway Slam and a running uppercut in the corner. Hammerstone then gets Femi up on his shoulders, but Femi escapes and sends Hammerstone crashing into the mat with a Military Press. Femi then goes for a pin, but Hammerstone kicks out. Femi then looks to hit a stomp on Hammerstone, but Hammerstone catches it. Femi then hits Hammerstone with a headbutt, then charges at him. Hammerstone then moves out of the way and sends Femi crashing into the ring post, then delivers some forearm strikes and chops on him. Hammerstone then nails Femi and hits him with a couple of belly-to-belly suplexes, then follows it up with a chokeslam and goes for a pin but Femi kicks out. Femi then sends Hammerstone crashing into the mat face first, then hits him with a slam and a powerbomb for the win.

Hank Walker and Tank Ledger are then shown hyping each other up and chatting with Robert Stone and Stevie Turner. The camera then pans over to Duke Hudson, Riley Osborne and Thea Hail. Hudson talks about how he is going to give Ridge Holland an Andre Chase University sized ass whooping.

We then see the women’s locker room getting ready for Jordynne Grace’s open challenge. Wren Sinclair then shows up and tries to convince Kelani Jordan to put her title on the line. Jaida Parker then shows up with a baseball bat looking for Fatal Influence. Lola Vice then talks about how they both have common enemies. Jaida then walks away refusing help. Jordan then says that she, Vice and Parker should team up to take down their common enemy.

An instagram post was then shown of CM Punk wanting to chat with NXT General Manager Ava about something in regards to Giulia.

Ridge Holland then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Chase U follows.

Singles Match: Ridge Holland vs. Chase U’s Duke Hudson

The match starts off with both men wasting no time in going after each other. Holland delivers some uppercuts and right hands on Hudson in the corner, but Hudson hits him with a boot and sends him crashing out of the ring. Hudson then follows Holland out there and sends Holland’s face bouncing off the announce desk, then clears the desk. Holland then blindsides Hudson, but Hudson sends him crashing into the ring steps and hits him with a shoulder on his midsection through the middle rope. Hudson then hits a German suplex on Holland over the top and from the apron, then sends him back in the ring. Holland then slides out of the other side and Hudson considers using his MVP trophy to hit Holland. Hudson decides against it after some convincing from Hail, but Holland sends Hudson crashing into Osborne on the outside. Osborne is then helped to the back by an official as Holland hits Hudson with a clothesline and a series of elbow drops. Holland then follows it up with a belly-to-belly suplex, then hits a slam on Hudson but Hudson rolls him up. Holland then kicks out and hits an elbow on Holland, but Holland hits him with a crossbody and a delayed vertical powerslam, then follows it up with the Redeemer for the win.

The winner of the Singles Match, Ridge Holland!

After the match, Holland continues beating down Hudson as Hail pleads with him not to. Holland then sends Hudson crashing through one of the barricades, then uses it to hit Holland with and sends him crashing on top of it with a second Redeemer. Medical officials then check on Holland with a stretcher in hand.

TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace was then shown walking backstage and she crosses paths with Giulia.

Pete Dunne was then shown sitting down alone in the locker room. Dunne says it all started when he told Trick to figure it out. Dunne then says this is the face of someone who has figured it out. Dunne then shows some scars around his left eye. Dunne then hypes up how he is going to become the last man standing. Dunne then says he is the bruiserweight, NXT’s last man standing.

An episode of MizTV was ten plugged for NXT’s Chicago show.

We then get a replay of The Bloodline crashing the opening match. Vic Joseph was about to recap how the opening match was supposed to be with The Rascalz, but Wes Lee shows up and takes away Joseph’s headset, saying he took out Trey Miguel. Lee then challenges Zachary Wentz to a Street Fight at the Chicago CW show.

TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace then makes her way down to the ring for the next match of the night, which is an open challenge for her championship and Sol Ruca makes her way down to the ring next as she is the one answering Grace’s open challenge.

TNA Knockouts Championship Open Challenge: “The Juggernaut” Jordynne Grace (c) vs. Sol Ruca

The match starts off with Grace nailing Ruca with a shoulder tackle. Grace then hits Ruca with a splash in the corner and follows it up with a spinebuster. Grace then goes for a cover, but Ruca kicks out and sends Grace crashing out of the ring. Ruca then hits a moonsault off the ropes on Grace and sends her back in the ring, then hits her with a splash and goes for a pin but Grace kicks out. Wendy Choo then has a sleeper locked in on Grace as Rosemary eerily laughs and the referee calls for the bell.

The winner via disqualification and still the TNA Knockouts World Champion, “The Juggernaut” Jordynne Grace!

We then see Lyra Valkyria and Tatum Paxley chatting backstage. Tatum shows Lyra her doll collection, which were WWE action figures. Lyra says this looked like a coping mechanism and they need to focus on Wendy Choo and Rosemary. Tatum then starts to cry because one of her dolls lost it’s head. Lyra says they need to show Rosemary and Choo not to mess with them.

We then head over to NXT General Manager Ava’s office, where Ava congratulates Giulia on her win as Funaki stands by. WWE NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez then interrupts and begins running her mouth about Giulia jumping the line to get a shot at the NXT Women’s Championship and Giulia tells Perez that Perez is doing this because she’s scared.

We then see Brooks Jensen ask Dion Lennox about what exactly gaslighting is. Shawn Spears then interrupts and assures Jensen that Lennox isn’t being forthcoming with him. After Dion leaves, Spears tells Jensen to only trust in himself.

“The Bruiserweight” Pete Dunne then makes his way down to the ring for the main event and Trick Williams follows.

WWE NXT Championship #1 Contender’s Last Man Standing Match: Trick Williams vs. “The Bruiserweight” Pete Dunne

The match starts off with both men wasting no time in delivering right hands on each other. Williams then hits Dunne with a clothesline, but Dunne sends Williams crashing out of the ring and flies over the top rope to land on him. Dunne then delivers some right hands on Williams and sends him crashing into the ring steps shoulder first, but Williams responds with several chops of his own and looks to hit a piledriver on Dunne on the ring apron. Dunne then counters into a back body drop. Williams then hits a couple of leg lariats on Dunne. Williams then follows it up with a flapjack and kips up, but Dunne grabs a chair and stomps on Williams’ fingers on top of the chair. Williams ten hits Dunne’s midsection with the chair, then hits a neckbreaker on him on top of it. The referee then begins a ten count, but Dunne makes it to his feet before the referee can finish it.

Dunne then delivers some stomps on Williams’ chest, then sets up the chair between the middle and top turnbuckles and sends Williams crashing into it face first. The referee then begins a ten count, but Williams beats it. Dunne then sends Williams crashing into the ring steps on the outside and hits a boot on his head before the referee begins another ten count. As Williams makes it up to his feet, Dunne exposes the concrete and sends Williams crashing on top of it with a DDT. The referee then begins another ten count, but Williams makes it to his feet before the referee can complete it. Dunne then hits a boot on Williams’ face back in the ring and delivers some stomps on his head and the referee begins another ten count. Williams then beats it and hits a pop-up right hand on Dunne. Williams then sets up for the Trick Shot, but Dunne sees him coming and sends Williams colliding into the corner. Dunne then sends Williams crashing into the mat and grabs the chair before looking to hit Williams with it. Williams then sees Dunne coming and nails him with a spinning pump kick using the chair. The referee then begins a ten count and Dunne beats it. Williams then hits Dunne with the Trick Shot and the referee starts another ten count.

Dunne then powers back up to his feet and Williams clears the announce desk. Dunne then powerbombs Williams on top of the part with the NXT logo that Williams had placed in the corner. The referee then begins a ten count, but Williams makes it back up to his feet. Dunne then sends Williams into the crowd and drags him up onto the platform talent occasionally watch the in-ring action from. Dunne then pulls down one of the barriers, then looks to send Williams crashing through a table beneath it. Williams then blocks it, but both men are then sent crashing through the table when Dunne hits a Russian Leg Sweep on Williams. Ethan Page then appears at ringside to cheer Dunne on as the referee begins a ten count. Williams then makes his way up to his feet at the count of nine and sends Dunne crashing through the announce desk with a back body drop for the win.

The winner and new #1 Contender to the WWE NXT Championship, Trick Williams!

We then head to the back, where NXT General Manager Ava informs Stevie Turner and Mr. Stone that CM Punk will be appearing on next week’s show to make a special announcement about the upcoming NXT Chicago show on October 1. Vic also announced the Ethan Page and Trick Williams contract signing. Vic Joseph then plugs Roxanne Perez vs. Giulia for the Chicago show. Trick Williams then celebrates his win as the show comes to a close.
