The September 10, 2024, episode of WWE NXT featured the highly anticipated debut of Giulia, a standout from STARDOM, who faced Chelsea Green in a competitive match. Green took early control, but Giulia fought back with a combination of strikes and her signature spider web submission hold.

Chelsea Green attempted a comeback with a German suplex and a near-fall, but Giulia’s relentless offence, including a running knee and a northern lights bomb, secured her victory. This marks an impressive start to Giulia’s journey in NXT, following much speculation about her WWE signing.

In a backstage segment later that night, Giulia was seen in NXT General Manager Ava’s office and alongside her was WWE Legend from Japan, Funaki. Fans were enthralled to see Funaki on WWE TV after a long time. However, the moment was quickly interrupted by the arrival of NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez.

Perez made it clear that despite Giulia’s star power and fame in Japan, NXT was her division. While Funaki offered to intervene, Giulia stepped in herself to answer back to Roxanne. Giulia claimed that she was scared, and she should be, as their NXT Women’s title match rapidly approaches on NXT’s premiere episode on the CW network on October 1. As for Funaki, it seems that Giulia might have found a new ally for her tenure in WWE moving forward.
