Ricochet’s move from WWE to AEW has created a ton of hype, especially after his impressive debut at AEW All In at Wembley Stadium. It has been a couple of weeks since he has been part of AEW and Ricochet has now admitted that his transition was very smooth.

During the August 28th edition of AEW DynamiteRicochet made his Dynamite debut as he squared off against Kyle Fletcher. He then had a confrontation with Will Ospreay at AEW All Out last week for good measure.

As AEW got ready for the September 11th Dynamite show in Kentucky, Ricochet talked on The Babyfaces Podcast about his move to the company. He said the switch to AEW has been easy, mainly because he already knows a lot of the people in the locker room. Ricochet has worked with guys like Chuck Taylor before, so it was simple to get back into the groove with them.

Ricochet also talked about how big the recent AEW All In show at Wembley Stadium felt, saying it brought back his excitement for wrestling. Being around old friends, even after many years, felt natural. Ricochet thinks AEW will keep fueling his passion and help him enjoy wrestling even more as he moves forward in his career.

”Man, Wembley was amazing. It really gave that big feel, that big show feel, the big spike. It really did, and then, the locker rooms make things different. Both locker rooms are great. I’ve known people here in All Elite for, man, probably my whole career I’ve known all these guys. Literally, my whole career. Chuck Taylors and some of those guys since day one I’ve known. So, it was honestly a pretty easy transition. It was pretty smooth for me to transition over. I haven’t seen a lot of these guys in five, six, seven years. Maybe longer. But, honestly, it was kind of like I saw them last weekend. We started right back where we left off… Obviously, the environments are different so those are different but really at the end of the day, I’ve had fun my whole career and this is just going to reignite that spark, that fire that still was there but it just needed some gasoline to throw on it. To ignite it bigger and I think AEW’s gonna be that gasoline.”

Ricochet also explained why he feels leaving WWE for AEW was the right choice. Nevertheless, we’ll have to wait and see how Ricochet will fare now that he is officially All Elite, as fans are excited about his future in the company.
