Natalya made her much-anticipated return to WWE on the September 9th episode of Monday Night RAW. She teamed up with Lyra Valkyria and Zelina Vega to take on the formidable trio of Zoey Stark, Shayna Baszler, and Sonya Deville, collectively known as the Pure Fusion Collective.

The match marked her first in-ring appearance since her June 4th bout on NXT against Izzi Dame. The Queen of Harts discussed her return during an appearance on Growing Up Von Erichs.

Natalya expressed how meaningful it was to make her in-ring comeback in her hometown of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, where her family’s legacy in wrestling began and also having her legendary uncle, Bret Hart on the same show.

Furthermore, Natalya revealed that she took time off not only for personal projects but also for her mental health, and she appreciated WWE’s support during her break.

“Yesterday, Monday Night Raw, I made my return back to the ring. I took the summer off, I was working on a couple of projects. We were back in Calgary, and that’s where my family started. It was so cool to make my re-debut in WWE back in Calgary. My whole family was there, Bret (Hart) was on Raw. I was able to win my match for my team. It was cool. It’s always nice to be back home.”

Natalya’s return is a significant moment for both her career and her fans, who are excited to see her back in action. It was also reported in July that Natalya signed a new deal with WWE, securing her future with the company.

With the two-time WWE Women’s Champion back in the mix, we will have to wait and see the next tenure of Natalya’s WWE run following her re-signing and continuing to push forward as a cornerstone of the women’s division.
