The Money in the Bank Premium Live Event took place at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on July 6th and there were a lot of things to keep fans engaged throughout the night. With that said, it appears Sports Milwaukee are trying to ensure that next year’s Money in the Bank takes place in Milwaukee.

The Milwaukee Business Journal reports that Sports Milwaukee is preparing a bid to host WWE’s Money in the Bank event in 2025. According to Marissa Werner, Director of Sports Milwaukee, if successful, the event would be held at Fiserv Forum.

City officials, including Mayor Cavalier Johnson, who is a big WWE fan, have expressed interest in bringing WWE Premium Live Events to Milwaukee. Johnson mentioned that the city has been in discussions with WWE about hosting a major event.

This bid for Money in the Bank comes earlier than initially planned. Milwaukee has previously hosted WWE events such as the 2012 Elimination Chamber and 2017 Fastlane.

Sports Milwaukee hopes that securing Money in the Bank could pave the way for even larger events in the future, with aspirations for hosting SummerSlam or the Royal Rumble. Therefore, only time will tell if Milwaukee will be successful in their endeavor as there is a long time for next year’s event and they will have to contend with a lot of competition.
