Giulia Wins Long Awaited In Ring Debut During 9/10 WWE NXT

The September 10, 2024 episode of WWE NXT was action-packed, continuing the brand’s momentum as it nears the end of its run on the USA Network. One of the highlights was the highly anticipated debut of Giulia, as she took on Chelsea Green in a fierce matchup.

Giulia made her WWE NXT debut during the second match of the night, with the first 30 minutes of the show airing commercial-free. Chelsea Green managed to get the upper hand early on, delivering some punishment to the former STARDOM standout, but Giulia quickly fought back.

The NXT Arena was fully behind Giulia, especially when she locked in her signature spider web submission hold, a move even more devastating than an octopus stretch. Green tried to escape to the apron, but Giulia wasn’t done with her yet.

In an intense exchange, Giulia trapped Green in the ropes, delivering a series of strikes before Green managed to create some distance and regain control. After landing a German suplex, Chelsea almost secured a near fall, but Giulia was far from finished.

Giulia soon found her rhythm again, landing a running knee and a flurry of offense as Green sold each move like a rag doll. When Green rolled out of the ring and sent Giulia over the announce table, it seemed like she had turned the tide, but a missed missile dropkick off the top rope gave Giulia another opening.

Giulia capitalized, delivering another knee to the head, followed by a northern lights bomb for the decisive victory. It was an impressive debut for Giulia, setting her on a strong path in NXT.

Giulia’s journey to WWE has been a long time in the making. She was first spotted interacting with fans at the WWE World, sparking rumors of her signing with the company. The following day, speculation grew as reports suggested she had signed with WWE and would join NXT after fulfilling her commitments in Japan. Her appearance at NXT Stand & Deliver, where she sat with William Regal and Rossy Ogawa, further fueled the rumors. Now she has officially started her road in NXT.
