You never know what will happen when NXT goes live, and even though they are nearing the end of their time on the USA Network, this week proved to be especially eventful. The first thirty minutes of the broadcast were commercial-free, and NXT made sure to capitalize on every second.

The September 10, 2024 episode kicked off with an NXT Tag Team Title match as Nathan Frazer and Axiom defended their championships against the Street Profits. It was a fast-paced, high-energy bout, with the crowd fully invested in the action from the very beginning.

Just when it seemed like the Street Profits were gaining momentum, Tama Tonga made a surprise appearance, attacking them and causing a disqualification. As if that wasn’t shocking enough, Tanga Loa and Jacob Fatu soon joined the chaos, leaving no one standing. This was far from the conclusion anyone anticipated.

After the chaos caused by the Bloodline members, the NXT Arena erupted with chants of “We Want Roman.” Although the Tribal Chief wasn’t present, his name rang out loud and clear, and the Bloodline made sure to send a message through their destruction.

With Solo Sikoa set to face Cody Rhodes during the USA Network premiere of SmackDown this Friday, the Bloodline seemed eager to start their reign of destruction early, and NXT became their first target.

What’s your take on the Bloodline’s unexpected invasion of NXT? Do you think they’ll continue to make appearances on the black and gold brand? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section!
