Batista, known for his role as Drax the Destroyer in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, has successfully made a name for himself in the acting world after his WWE career. Recently, he addressed rumors about any potential issues with John Cena.

In 2005, both Batista and Cena were prominent World Champions in WWE, representing their respective brands. Over time, they both switched brands but continued their roles as fan favorites. Despite their professional success, there were rumors of real-life tension between them.

While speaking in an interview with Chris Van Vliet on INSIGHT, Batista set the record straight about his relationship with Cena. He explained that any perceived tension between them was exaggerated by internet rumors and fan speculation. Batista emphasized that he gets along well with Cena and holds him in high regard.

“I get along with John [Cena]. I really respect John a lot more than people think I do for some reason. I think the internet and fans have built this rivalry between us, which really isn’t.”
