These injuries can become nagging over the years, and the same was the case for a current AEW star who decided to begin his road to recovery after two decades.

In a recent tweet sent out via his X, current AEW star Sonjay Dutt, who has been a veteran of the wrestling business, opened up about his shoulder issues prevalent for almost twenty years.

Sonjay Dutt stated that after dealing with a myriad of shoulder issues for the better part of the last two decades, he recently underwent surgery last week, received a total shoulder replacement and was excited towards getting a healthier life.

Sonjay Dutt has now become a significant part of All Elite Wrestling (AEW). However, Dutt shared in the past that the lack of creative freedom in WWE played a major role in his decision to leave the company.

Dutt had also previously worked at Impact Wrestling (now TNA) and had broader responsibilities there, shaping various aspects of the product. He has been entrusted with the same kind of responsibilities during his current tenure in AEW and has taken a huge step towards a better and healthier life following his shoulder surgery.
