WWE Quietly Removes Star from Active Roster

Kiana James trained under the tutelage of Shawn Spears and Tyler Breeze and joined NXT a couple of years ago. She was called up to Monday Night RAW during the WWE Draft this year but hasn’t really been used well at all. In fact, it appears that WWE has removed her from the active roster.

According to a report by PWInsider, Kiana James has been moved from the company’s internal active roster to the “misc” roster, which typically includes talents out due to long-term injuries or making rare appearances.

James, who was drafted from NXT to RAW in May, had only two matches on RAW, with her last appearance in June. Initially, she seemed to have a role as an assistant to RAW General Manager Adam Pearce, but that storyline faded, and she has since been off television.

The reason for her move to the “misc” roster is currently unknown, and James has not commented on her absence from TV. Despite being removed from the active roster, she remains with WWE and could return when ready.

Fans certainly hope this does not mean Kiana James will no longer be part of WWE and will eventually get released, as she has yet to establish her footing on the main roster. We will keep you updated on Kiana James’ status as we learn more.
