CM Punk believed he left his heated rival Drew McIntyre in his rearview after securing a huge win over him at WWE Bash in Berlin in a Strap match. However, the events of this week’s RAW have possibly decided the final sight that would settle this rivalry once and for all.
On the September 9 edition of Monday Night RAW, The Scottish Warrior came out to address his heinous actions from last week, where he physically decimated CM Punk, which led to him being sent to the hospital in an ambulance and also destroyed his beloved bracelet.
Drew McIntyre began by mocking CM Punk’s cheers while explaining his actions from last week. McIntyre was not ready to let CM Punk move on to the World Championship, citing how many times Punk cost him the opportunity to win the title while gloating about ending The Best in the World.
McIntyre then turned his attention to RAW commentator Wade Barrett, reflecting on their friendship, but seemed disappointed in him for getting in his way last week while he attacked CM Punk. Drew stepped out of the ring and warned him, but at that moment, General Adam Pearce came out.
Pearce was disgusted at McIntyre’s actions and ordered to step into the ring to give him some information. He revealed that he spoke to CM Punk earlier today, who claimed that he was not done with Drew McIntyre. Adam Pearce then announced that McIntyre vs CM Punk for Bad Blood for the final time. However, this time, it will be contested inside Hell in a Cell, leaving McIntyre shocked.
