The AEW All Out pay-per-view sparked plenty of buzz, not just for the action-packed matches but also due to speculation surrounding a possible backstage incident. Reports indicated that an AEW star might have been involved in this behind-the-scenes altercation.
During the event at the NOW Arena, a fan noticed security personnel rushing backstage, leading to rumors of a potential situation unfolding backstage. Initially, it was believed that there wasn’t much to the incident, but new details have since surfaced.
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez shed light on the situation, explaining that the altercation involved an unnamed AEW star and a member of the production team. This occurred just before the co-main event featuring Bryan Danielson and Jack Perry, prompting security to quickly intervene.
While the wrestler involved has not been publicly named, it was noted that they were not featured on the All Out card. According to Alvarez, the altercation happened during a backstage filming session. Although some have downplayed the incident, it was serious enough for security to step in. However, after both parties spoke, the issue was reportedly resolved.
“So before this match started, a bunch of security dudes just start sprinting backstage. What happened was apparently there was some incident with one of the wrestlers that wasn’t on this show. They were shooting something backstage, and this wrestler and a production guy got into a big thing. Some people are saying it was absolutely nothing, but it was big enough that security sprinted backstage. But I was told that whatever it was, they apparently talked it out and everything ended up ok.”
Despite the brief backstage drama, the event continued smoothly, and the situation didn’t escalate. Fans were able to enjoy the show, with the incident not casting a shadow over what was an otherwise successful night for AEW All Out.
