Swerve Strickland Reacts to Brutal Defeat at AEW All Out 2024

Swerve Strickland, who has been making a significant impact in AEW with his remarkable wrestling abilities and dominant persona, faced one of the toughest challenges of his career at AEW All Out. Despite his best efforts, he suffered a brutal defeat. Strickland has now reacted to the loss in a way only he knows how.

During the main event of AEW All Out, Swerve Strickland squared off against Adam Page in a Lights Out Steel Cage match. The fight began before the cage fully descended, with Prince Nana tossing a table inside as Strickland nearly decapitated Page using the cage. Both wrestlers quickly filled the ring with weapons, and Page pulled out a staple gun, which Strickland soon turned against him. In a brutal moment, Strickland stapled a photo of Page’s family to his chest.

Both wrestlers bled profusely, taking hits off the cage, and the violence escalated. Strickland sent Page through a table, and Page retaliated with a Dead Eye. Strickland later drove a stake into Page’s head, and Page responded by ripping out Strickland’s grill and using a needle to puncture his face. The match ended after a chair shot, with Page declared the winner. Strickland lay destroyed as medical staff appeared ringside to give him medical attention.

Swerve Strickland took to Twitter and reacted to his shocking loss at the AEW All Out pay-per-view, as he simply uploaded a photo of himself being given medical care after the match.

We will have to wait and see whether Swerve Strickland will need to take time off from AEW television after such a dangerous match that saw him getting brutalized from start to finish. Till then, fans will be wondering what AEW could have in store for the former AEW World Champion.
