AEW just brought a big show to Chicago for All Out, and there is a lot to unpack after the event. Daniel Garcia and MJF opened up the pay-per-view, but only one of those men is locked into a longer deal with All Elite Wrestling.

Interesting updates have emerged regarding Daniel Garcia’s status with AEW following his appearance at All Out, amid ongoing speculation about his future with the company.

Garcia participated in a notable spot during the September 7 pay-per-view, where he initially lost to former AEW World Champion MJF before delivering a brutal second-rope piledriver to MJF post-match. With Garcia’s AEW contract reportedly set to expire before the end of the year, fans and insiders alike have been speculating about his future with the promotion.

AEW has now provided a potential hint regarding Garcia’s future, advertising him for several upcoming events. Garcia has been featured on promotional posters for three newly announced shows: the October 26 episode of Collision in Cedar Rapids, the November 2 Collision in Philadelphia, and the November 27 Dynamite/Collision taping in Chicago.

While the posters include the usual disclaimer of “card subject to change,” their release has fueled rumors that Garcia is likely to sign a contract extension with AEW. This certainly adds a new level to this ongoing story.

Previous reports had indicated that Garcia’s current deal would only keep him with the company through October. As of now, Daniel Garcia has not officially inked a new contract, but his continued spotlight in AEW suggests that negotiations may be ongoing. Fans will have to wait and see if Garcia commits to an extended run with the promotion.

We will have to see what Daniel Garcia does with his future. Tony Khan seems very open to keeping him aboard, but they haven’t put ink to paper just yet to make things official. This could be a play for Garcia to snag a larger deal, but there may also be interest in his services elsewhere if he wanted to let that contract expire and take his chance in the free agency market.

What’s your take Daniel Garcia’s current career path? Do you think he will stay with AEW or possibly let WWE give him a call? Let us know what you think in the comments section!
